The client's brief required a unique identity for their office while using their own materials. The 20,000 sq. ft. space was designed with an open plan office in the center, while meeting rooms and cabins were placed around the periphery. To create a distinctive look, floating MDF was used as the false ceiling in the central area.

We collaborated with a lighting consultant and the light manufacturer to design custom uniform brightness disk lights. This innovation helped to achieve a cohesive and visually impressive design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Overall, this approach enabled us to create a space that reflects the client's unique identity while also meeting their functional requirements.

The custom-designed disk lights serve as downlighters when switched on, and when off, they seamlessly merge in with the MDF disks, creating a visually cohesive design. In addition, the circulation space and main conference and meeting rooms feature saw-cut raw wood that is used in the manufacturing of the MDF boards. This not only adds to the aesthetic appeal of the space, but also creates a narrative that connects different stages of the manufacturing process.

The office layout has been thoughtfully designed to ensure complete privacy for the workforce while also creating dramatic visual axes that add to the overall appeal of the space. This approach can help improve productivity and focus while also creating an inspiring environment that can boost creativity and innovation.
